“When I reflect on the trails I’ve had the privilege to hike, only a select few have captured my heart quite like the MassIV Trail. Perhaps my affinity for Scandinavia biases me, or maybe I’m a shameless romantic when it comes to romanticising trails. However, there’s no denying that this trail encompasses some of Norway’s most breathtaking and diverse landscapes.”
Finally, a hiking guide for the MassIV Trail! This recently developed long-distance trail in Norway has attracted enthusiastic hikers in recent years because the MassIV Trail didn’t have a hiking guide until now. I’m changing that! The content of this guide is based on my personal experience on the hike in the summer of 2022, with some fun personal touches here and there.
The content consists of:
-A day-by-day breakdown of the walk
–Overview maps per day
–Elevation profiles of each day
-An overview of the facilities in each cabin
-An overview of the contact details per cabin
–Helpful tips I would have liked to have
-QR codes to more information about the walk (such as: what to bring, how to get there, where to buy food, etc.)
–Sudokus (not to be missed, duh)
-And of course, much more… 🙂
